The London South Bank University Model Confucius Institute provides the University with a vibrant, welcoming and high quality facility to promote traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese language and culture.
The project builds upon and expands the University’s existing facility and is located within Caxton House, a historical building that forms part of the St George’s Circus Conservation Area.
The architectural merit of the existing building was a key consideration in the development of our design proposal. Comprising a floor area of approximately 515sqm, the remodelling includes work on the ground and second floor areas. Accessibility is improved by the installation of a new platform lift.
