A private housing development scheme on the rooftop of an existing four storey residential block in Whitechapel, East London.
The proposed design provides eight new duplexes and the upgrading of the existing communal parts of the building to enhance the amenity, security and accessibility of the block, including the provision of two new passenger lifts.
The choice of materials and colours is intentionally restrained to a sophisticated palate of grey and timber, using Marley Eternit Equitone cladding panels to achieve a timeless quality finish.
