The design of a new entrance building at Rosetta Primary School in Custom House to improve identity, wayfinding and safeguarding. The building is to replace a disused school keeper’s house, link directly into the main Key Stage 2 wing and consolidate administrative and training room accommodation.
Ranked in the top 1% of all primary schools in England by The Sunday Times, Rosetta is based within five fine Victorian buildings which are arranged around two large courtyard playgrounds. Our new building is located in the most prominent part of the entrance and is to be clad in a red pigmented standing seam zinc cladding with large glazed gable ends.
