Rivington Street Studio has refurbished 640m² of space across six boarding houses at Harrow School. Set within a series of listed buildings, the projects balance sensitive restoration with modern interventions to create contemporary spaces to read, relax and study.
The Reader within Rendall’s Boarding House and Bill Hall within The Head Master’s, have both been sensitively restored. The engraved timber panelling has been refreshed and complemented with contemporary lighting and furniture. Bespoke joinery has refreshed the common rooms and Readers in Moretons, The Park and Elmfield Boarding Houses provide spaces for individual and group study.
