William Torbitt is an existing 1930s art deco primary school in Newbury Park, East London. This project expanded the school from three to four forms of entry and involved demolition of toilet blocks at both ends of the school and construction of new extensions for classrooms, toilets, dining space, kitchen and servery.
A remodelled internal layout provides a new main entrance in its original, central location as well as new offices for the senior leadership team.
"I want to thank you for all your hard work on this project which I believe is a great success"
