This site in suburban Hackney was previously occupied by a motor repair workshop, isolated in an otherwise residential area. The site is in London’s expanded Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ), rendering its previous use unviable.
Our mixed-use redevelopment scheme will enhance the site’s employment potential with new flexible-use commercial space, suitable for a range of small businesses more suited to the site’s location.
It will also maximise the site’s housing potential, providing six new homes ranging from a one-bedroom flat to three-bedroom townhouses.
The design is formed of three linked blocks, designed to book-end the adjacent terrace of locally-listed Victorian villas and repair an unsightly gap in street frontage.
